EDX Markets has integrated with the Fireblocks Network Link, giving its institutional clients a direct way to fund accounts, rebalance liquidity and transfer digital assets without creating separate operational processes. The connection links EDX’s trading venue and central clearinghouse to Fireblocks’ network, allowing asset movements to operate within workflows clients already use. EDX CEO Tony Acuña-Rohter said the integration addresses operational challenges facing regulated firms expanding into digital assets. EDX’s clearinghouse already provides single-net settlement (combining obligations into one net transfer) for spot trading, reducing the number of transactions needed to reconcile positions. Fireblocks says its infrastructure secures more than $16 trillion in digital-asset transactions. The integration forms part of EDX’s broader 2026 expansion after the company closed a $76 million Series C funding round in July and announced additional partnerships in August. EDX serves institutional clients only, excluding retail traders, a structure the company says supports a simpler regulatory profile and more predictable counterparty risk.
