CoreWeave reported a 112% year-over-year increase in second-quarter sales and more than doubled adjusted operating profit to $1.5 billion, supported by enterprise demand for GPU computing and a $104 billion revenue backlog. The company raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $12.4 billion-$13.2 billion, while its shares have gained roughly 40% year to date. CEO Michael Intrator said CoreWeave cannot secure enough Nvidia GPUs to meet customer demand. Nvidia supplies all of CoreWeave's advanced GPUs, owns an 11.5% equity stake and is a strategic backer. Nvidia expects 70% revenue growth in fiscal 2028, compared with analysts' 45% forecast, although Jensen Huang said memory shortages are constraining potential growth. CoreWeave is also confronting local opposition to data centers, with 75 projects worth $130 billion blocked or delayed in the first three months of 2026. The company has built more than one gigawatt of capacity outside the United States to diversify its pipeline. Nvidia has agreed to buy Hugging Face for $12.9 billion and is reportedly discussing a $2.5 billion investment in Thinking Machines Lab.
