FP Markets has received a Category 5 Licence from the UAE’s Capital Market Authority (CMA), formerly the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). The licence is held by group entity FP Markets MENA Securities L.L.C. S.O.C. and permits marketing, promotional, and client introduction activities in Dubai and across the Emirates. John Lewis, FP Markets Chief Marketing Officer, said the approval forms part of the broker’s longer-term regulatory strategy and adds to its multi-jurisdictional oversight. FP Markets also holds licences from ASIC in Australia, the FSA in Seychelles, the FSCA in South Africa, and the CMA of Kenya. Established in Sydney in 2005, the broker offers more than 10,000 CFD instruments across seven asset classes through MetaTrader 4/5, TradingView, and cTrader. The company said it plans to continue expanding regulatory coverage while investing in trading infrastructure, technology, and support functions.
