Investors who purchased or acquired Bloom Energy Corporation securities between Feb. 27, 2025, and July 8, 2026, have until Sept. 28, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a proposed federal securities class action. Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP said Sept. 10 that it is reminding investors about the deadline, following a similar notice from Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP. The case, Nevins v. Bloom Energy Corporation, No. 26-cv-07944, was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The complaint alleges that Bloom Energy and certain executives violated federal securities laws by obtaining scandium through intermediaries that sourced the metal from China, understating the company's reliance on Chinese supplies and making materially misleading statements about its business, operations and prospects. Bloom Energy shares fell approximately 6% on July 8, 2026, following the alleged corrective disclosures, according to the complaint. Any eligible investor may seek lead plaintiff status through counsel of their choice or remain an absent class member without affecting potential participation in any recovery. Faruqi & Faruqi said investors can contact partner James (Josh) Wilson to discuss their rights, potential claims and the lead plaintiff process.
