Rackspace Technology joined the NVIDIA Cloud Partner Program and launched its Institutional Sovereign Pod, combining NVIDIA Blackwell accelerated computing with Palantir Foundry and AIP inside a Rackspace-operated private cloud. The offering is aimed at enterprises and governments that require data residency, governance, security and operational control, with Rackspace providing engineering, deployment and ongoing managed services. Rackspace CEO Gajen Kandiah said enterprise AI is becoming production infrastructure, making accountability for continuous operation as important as GPU supply. The announcement followed Palantir's September 8 designation of Nebius Group as its preferred sovereign AI infrastructure partner for commercial customers and a separate NVIDIA-Palantir supply-chain AI product introduced Wednesday. Rackspace shares were quoted at $3.15, down 2.62% from Wednesday's close of $3.24, and later at $3.12, down 3.55%, according to Benzinga Pro. The stock remains below its $8.60 52-week high and above its $0.39 low. RBC Capital's sole 2026 rating is Hold, with a price target raised to $4 from $2.50 in June. NVIDIA shares traded near $218, while Palantir had a Street-wide Strong Buy consensus with an average price target of $190.
