Bitplanet, a KOSDAQ-listed digital asset treasury company, has completed its $9,999,228 acquisition of 1,204 Bitmain Bitcoin mining rigs under a tangible asset purchase agreement signed in June. The equipment includes 454 S21 XP Hydro units and 750 S21e XP Hydro units, deployed in Oman and Paraguay. Bitplanet plans to operate the machines through outsourced management and joint ventures, targeting seven BTC per month and more than 84 BTC annually. The machines can deliver up to 473 terahashes per second, with power efficiency of 12–13 joules per terahash, and mined Bitcoin will be recognized as revenue alongside the company's systems integration business. The company views the venture as a potential foundation for future AI data center operations, while warning that Bitcoin prices, network difficulty, electricity costs, foreign exchange movements and local regulations will affect performance.
