Coinbase Chief Executive Officer Brian Armstrong said Bitcoin may have formed a cyclical bottom and could return to an upward trend within 12 to 24 months. Speaking in Singapore, he said a final agreement on the proposed CLARITY Act was nearing and that the Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission could issue clearer crypto guidance within one to two weeks, whether or not Congress passes the bill. Armstrong also said Coinbase is preparing to introduce tokenized shares in the United States. He identified stablecoin payments, tokenized stocks and real-world assets, prediction markets and smart agent finance as four trends supporting crypto-sector growth through 2027. The comments add to Armstrong's personal view that Bitcoin could reach $300,000 to $400,000 by 2030, with regulatory clarity, institutional participation and Bitcoin's fixed supply supporting longer-term adoption.
