Polymarket appointed former Amazon finance chief Warren Jenson as its first chief financial officer on Sept. 10, 2026, assigning him responsibility for finance, capital strategy, long-range planning and financial infrastructure as it develops a regulated U.S. exchange and operates its international platform. Jenson will report directly to founder and CEO Shayne Coplan. He previously held senior finance roles at Amazon, Nielsen, Electronic Arts, Delta Air Lines and NBC, and serves on the boards of Ripple, Dropbox and DigitalOcean. Polymarket's U.S. strategy is built on its $112 million July 2025 acquisition of QCEX and QC Clearing, which created a regulated route back into the market after its 2022 CFTC settlement. The company said its international platform remains separate from its prospective U.S. operations. A previously reported $1 billion financing led by 1789 Capital at a $21 billion valuation had not been confirmed as closed in Polymarket's CFO announcement.
