BitGo enables eligible clients to connect self-custody wallets to Hyperliquid

  • BitGo connects eligible clients’ self-custody hot wallets to Hyperliquid through WalletConnect.
  • One-time activation enables order management without repeated BitGo signatures or per-order gas payments.
  • BitGo Korea received VASP registration acceptance to provide institutional custody and transfer services in South Korea.

BitGo Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: BTGO) said eligible clients can connect existing self-custody hot wallets to Hyperliquid through WalletConnect and access perpetual markets without creating a new wallet or establishing a separate fund-transfer approval process. After a required one-time activation, users can place, modify and close orders without providing a new BitGo signature or making a separate on-chain gas payment for each order, although Hyperliquid trading and other applicable fees may still apply. Deposits and withdrawals requiring a wallet transaction remain subject to configured approval policies, including multi-user requirements, and private keys are not exposed. The feature is available to eligible existing clients outside the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and other jurisdictions restricting leveraged digital asset derivatives. Separately, BitGo Korea received acceptance of its Virtual Asset Service Provider registration from South Korea’s Korea Financial Intelligence Unit, allowing it to provide custody and transfer services to institutional clients. Hana Financial Group and SK Telecom are strategic shareholders in BitGo Korea.
