Maven Robotics launched on Sept. 10, 2026, with $100 million in Series A funding from RoboStrategy, LocalGlobe, Vine Ventures, XTX Ventures and other investors. Founded in 2024 by brothers Hamza and Khalid Derbas, the Santa Clara company develops general-purpose industrial robots combining hardware, software and AI across the robot, fleet, factory and network. Maven began with mixed-case palletizing and tote handling, a market it estimates at $80 billion, and is expanding toward material handling and assembly workflows serving a market exceeding $1 trillion. Its wheeled robots can travel up to 10 miles per hour and lift as much as 30 kilograms with two arms. Maven says fleets have operated autonomously across multiple shifts for a Fortune 250 consumer packaged goods company, with more than 100,000 operating hours targeted by the end of 2026 and more than 1 million by the end of 2027. Earlier reporting said the company had operated as many as eight robots for 16 hours a day with at least 99% uptime and planned to build 250 third-generation robots while designing a fourth-generation platform.
