Vingroup ranked 340th in TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026, produced with Statista, rising from 817th place the previous year and becoming the only Vietnamese company listed for two consecutive years. The conglomerate scored 81 out of 100 based on revenue growth, employee satisfaction and sustainability transparency. Consolidated net revenue reached VND 222.9 trillion in the first half of 2026, up 72% year on year, while profit after tax rose to VND 20.904 trillion, more than four and a half times the comparable period. Vingroup also ranked 398th globally for employee satisfaction, up 496 places, with roughly 400,000 employees across 12 countries. Its sustainability initiatives include Vinhomes’ ESG++ urban-development framework, VinSpeed rail projects and VinEnergo green-energy investments. The recognition comes as VinFast develops two India-specific EVs, internally codenamed VF X and VF Y, after suspending production plans for the VF 3, VF 6 and VF 7 because costs could not be reduced to targeted price levels. The company is considering a sub-$12,000 compact model and has begun discussions with Indian suppliers, while continuing to assemble imported VF 6 and VF 7 kits in India.
