Clay, a software company building AI tools for business growth, raised $115 million in a Series D round led by Wellington, lifting its valuation to $7.1 billion, more than double the $3.1 billion recorded in its August 2025 Series C. The company says it serves more than 17,000 customers, including 80% of the Forbes AI 50 and organizations such as Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Stripe, Workday, and Siemens. Its platform combines CRM (customer relationship management) data, product usage, campaign metrics, calls, emails, funding events, and hiring activity to help companies identify prospects, monitor market signals, and personalize outreach. Co-founder and chief executive Kareem Amin said Clay is moving from data aggregation and campaign infrastructure toward agents that can proactively drive growth. Alongside the financing, Clay announced a $1 million scholarship program for future go-to-market engineers, specialists in building revenue systems. The company remains privately held, while investors have rapidly revalued AI-focused sales and marketing infrastructure.
