StonkFun [$STONK] outperformed Pump.fun [$PUMP] as the market turned toward memecoins paired with tokenized stocks, major tokens and other assets. $STONK rose more than 16% in 24 hours to a $200 million market capitalization, while $PUMP fell 11% during a broader market retracement. StonkFun is the launchpad behind Anonymous Cat [ZCAT], a viral cat-themed memecoin that pays Zcash [ZEC] rewards, helping drive a more than 25% increase in mindshare. Despite being less than a month old, the protocol generated $1.355 million in fees over the last two consecutive days, surpassing $PONS at $1.21 million. Those fees were used to buy back and permanently burn $STONK, with more than 138 million tokens worth approximately $30 million removed from circulation. The burn represented a 13.7% supply reduction, while the reported daily burn rate reached 0.55% and token supply fell to approximately 862.77 million. Pump.fun introduced Custom Pairs to compete with StonkFun, but the feature failed to attract comparable attention. Chart indicators showed $STONK in a rising trend channel, with three consecutive days of double-digit gains and more than 255,000 tokens bought at press time according to Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD), increasing the odds of a move above the channel resistance at $0.26. If the pattern holds, the token could revisit the channel’s mid-level or lower support near $0.14, while a breakout could expose higher market-cap levels. However, $STONK remains well below $PUMP’s $1.63 billion market capitalization, and the rally could be short-lived if the new memecoin narrative loses momentum.
