Bitget added 16 CFD endpoints to its unified trading API on September 10, 2026, extending programmatic access to an existing product rather than launching a new market. The endpoints cover market data, order placement and management, position closing, account information, fund transfers and transaction records. Bitget first opened CFD trading to invited users in December 2025. Its product documentation names gold, foreign exchange and stock-index CFDs, including XAU/USD, EUR/USD, GBP/USD, US30 and NAS100, although those examples do not confirm the live API instrument inventory. CFD accounts must be opened through Bitget’s website or app before API trading, with identity verification and proof of address required. The products use USDT for deposits and settle in USD, with automatic conversion between the two currencies during trading, according to the original launch notice. Regional availability, fees, leverage, rate limits, authentication scopes, order types and current instrument coverage remain subject to confirmation in Bitget’s live documentation.
