Truecaller completed its acquisition of 100% of TextPlus Inc. on Sept. 10, 2026, after announcing the agreement on July 17. The transaction values TextPlus at USD 15.0 million on a cash- and debt-free basis and expands Truecaller’s U.S. presence with second numbers and VoIP calling. TextPlus, which has about 1.5 million monthly active users, will continue operating as a separate company and brand while being consolidated into Truecaller from Sept. 9. The Los Angeles-based company was founded in 2009 and employs 14 people.
