PolarX reports 14.1% copper and 57.5m sulphide zone at Caribou Dome

  • PolarX announced high-grade copper assays from its 2026 Caribou Dome drilling campaign.
  • CD26-007 returned 24.8m grading 9.8% copper and 14.5g/t silver.
  • Assays for CD26-009 and CD26-013 are expected later this month.

PolarX Limited reported high-grade copper and silver assays from the 2026 diamond drilling campaign at its Caribou Dome Project in Alaska, including 24.8 meters grading 9.8% copper and 14.5 grams per tonne of silver in hole CD26-007. The result included higher-grade intervals of 4.9 meters at 13.6% copper and 20.4 grams per tonne of silver, and 4.4 meters at 14.1% copper and 16.9 grams per tonne of silver. Hole CD26-004 returned 22.6 meters at 8.1% copper and 13.5 grams per tonne of silver, including 5.8 meters at 12.4% copper and 21.3 grams per tonne of silver. Earlier drilling about 60 meters west of the existing resource intersected broad massive and semi-massive sulphides with visible chalcopyrite (a copper-bearing sulphide mineral), but assays from those discovery holes are still pending. Northern Star Resources Limited is fully funding the campaign, which has approximately 1,700 meters of drilling remaining and is scheduled for completion by the end of September 2026. Caribou Dome and the nearby Zackly deposit form the Alaska Range Project, where Northern Star can earn up to a 70% interest through cash contributions of up to US$39 million over five years.
