Jiang Zhuoer, founder of the BTC.TOP mining pool, said he liquidated all of his Bitcoin holdings at $77,226 amid rising U.S. inflation data and firmer expectations for Federal Reserve policy. A day earlier, Jiang said the probability of a Fed rate hike had increased to 70% after the latest Producer Price Index data. He also expected the next Consumer Price Index release to weigh on markets and said he was prepared to open a short position if conditions were favorable. The exit reverses his recently bullish stance, including his view that the bear market was 90% likely to be over, that Ethereum could outperform Bitcoin in the current cycle and that he planned to use reserve funds to buy ETH.
