Withdrawal requests at BlackRock’s HPS Corporate Lending Fund fell to roughly 11.5% of shares in the third quarter from 13.3% in the prior quarter, according to a Friday regulatory filing. The fund will repurchase 5% of shares, or about $600 million, the customary threshold for such vehicles. The data adds to indications that redemption pressure on private credit funds from retail investors is easing as asset managers address unfulfilled withdrawal requests. Blackstone began the third-quarter redemption period for major U.S. non-traded private credit funds the previous week, with data from other vehicles expected throughout September.
