Ether rebounded to about $2,613 on Sept. 11, gaining roughly 7.4% in 24 hours and reclaiming $2,600 after August consumer inflation matched headline expectations. CoinGecko data put Ether’s market capitalization at about $318.0 billion and 24-hour trading volume at roughly $21.5 billion, with the token trading between $2,433.27 and $2,647.68. The move followed a hotter-than-expected Producer Price Index released Sept. 10 and came as traders positioned for the Federal Open Market Committee meeting on Sept. 15-16. August CPI rose 0.4% monthly and 3.4% annually, while core CPI increased 0.3% monthly and 2.4% annually. U.S. spot Ether ETFs recorded about $29.8 million to $29.9 million in net outflows on Sept. 10, although BlackRock’s staking-enabled ETHB attracted $13.95 million. BitMine said its treasury held 5,929,198 ETH as of Sept. 7, while aggregate crypto-treasury holdings and declining exchange reserves continued to support the Ether-specific bid. Bitcoin also recovered toward $79,000, but macro risks remained elevated because Treasury yields stayed near recent highs and Brent crude remained above $100 a barrel.
