The Solana Foundation launched hackathons.solana.com on September 11, a self-serve platform consolidating hackathon discovery, registration, track selection, project submissions and judging. Stocklana is the first event, offering $100,000 in prizes for a one-week competition focused on stock-market infrastructure and tokenized equities, with submissions closing September 19. The platform also supports sponsor-funded tracks, project showcases, cross-hackathon participation rankings and community voting on future themes. A Perps and Prediction Markets hackathon is scheduled to launch September 18 with another $100,000 prize pool, while an Agentic Payments event is seeking sponsorship with a $50,000 target. The Foundation says its nine hackathons since November 2020 attracted more than 48,000 developers, produced over 3,000 projects and helped projects raise more than $600 million.
