Bitcoin Suisse is preparing to cut up to 60 of its 120 Switzerland-based jobs while closing its Copenhagen IT development site and moving more software and back-office work to international hubs. The Zug-based crypto financial-services firm said the restructuring is intended to support faster scaling, broader talent access and investment in future products, rather than reflect financial distress. Bratislava remains an international hub and the company plans another in Vietnam, alongside offices in Liechtenstein, Abu Dhabi and Bermuda. Bitcoin Suisse employs roughly 200 people globally. The changes come as Crypto Valley companies raised $728 million across 31 blockchain deals in 2025, up 37% from $531 million a year earlier, although a $400 million TON transaction accounted for more than half of the total. Bitcoin Suisse continues to expand services for institutional and wealthy clients, including custody, trading, staking and wealth management.
