Solana has surpassed $3 trillion in cumulative decentralized-exchange (DEX) volume and reclaimed the top spot in 24-hour DEX activity, according to DefiLlama data. Solana recorded roughly $3.25 billion in daily volume versus Robinhood Chain’s $2.72 billion, a gap of about $530 million, after the newer network briefly led following its July 1, 2026, mainnet launch. About $1.95 trillion of Solana’s activity came from spot trading in 2025, with perpetual contracts adding further volume, meaning more than half of its lifetime DEX activity was generated in one year. Raydium processed more than $530 billion in 2024 and roughly $642 billion in 2025, while Solana’s broader ecosystem includes Jupiter and Orca. Stablecoin swaps, tokenized assets, derivatives and speculative tokens have contributed to the network’s activity. Solana held approximately 36% of global spot DEX volume by mid-2026, ranking first among blockchain networks, and daily volume reached roughly $2.9 billion in September 2026. Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer-2 network built with Arbitrum technology, has focused on tokenized real-world assets but has also drawn substantial meme-coin activity; its early daily lead appears to have been concentrated in speculative bursts rather than broader ecosystem depth. Solana’s low transaction costs and high throughput support frequent smaller trades, although wash trading, bots and short-lived memecoin activity remain risks.
