Binance’s Bitcoin reserves have risen by roughly 77,000 BTC since late April to more than 693,000 BTC, the highest level in two years and about 30% of Bitcoin held on major trading platforms, according to on-chain analyst Darkfost. Bitcoin traded at $77,346, up 0.45%, with a market capitalization of roughly $1.55 trillion. Larger exchange balances can increase readily available selling supply, although they do not establish that holders plan to sell. Binance’s $1 billion SAFU purchase plan and demand for third-party custody may have contributed to the reserve increase. Bitcoin also remains below a concentration of long-term holder supply at $83,000 to $85,000, Glassnode said. Institutional demand offered a counterpoint: 60% of 400 wealth managers surveyed during a Bitwise presentation planned crypto allocations within a year, while 73% of 351 institutional investors surveyed by Coinbase and EY-Parthenon planned to increase allocations in 2026. Broader crypto prices were higher, with Ether, XRP, Solana, BNB, Cardano and Dogecoin advancing.
