Tokenized Grindr stock $GRND generated more than $31 million in trading volume on Solana less than 24 hours after its September 10 launch, nearly twice Grindr’s approximately $16.6 million NYSE volume from the previous trading day and above its roughly $25 million average daily volume. Current $GRND 24-hour volume is below $8 million. The stock was launched through Sunrise and Backpack Securities, while StonkFun’s listing enabled meme and stock pairings that became the main source of volume for newly listed Solana stocks. The activity has renewed questions about whether onchain markets can create meaningful liquidity for traditionally exchange-listed assets. Solana ranks first in real-world asset net inflows over the past 30 days, at approximately $348 million, as tokenized equity supply rose from roughly $500 million in early August to almost $830 million on September 1. Grindr CEO George Arison has said he believes the company’s stock trades at a discount because some portfolio managers avoid investing in it due to the nature of the app.
