Liquid Capital founder Yi Lihua said stronger Federal Reserve rate-hike expectations could push Bitcoin below $76,000 before a potential rebound, while unchanged policy could extend the uptrend. Bitcoin and Ether posted modest gains after August U.S. CPI rose 0.4% month on month and 3.4% year on year, with energy prices lifting headline inflation as core inflation slowed. The CME FedWatch tool put the odds of a 25-basis-point hike at 86.5%, up from about 70% before the inflation report, although fewer than 13% of 48 Bloomberg-surveyed economists expected a hike at the Sept. 15-16 meeting or the next rate decision in December 2027. Yi favored unleveraged spot trading and cited major crypto assets, transaction infrastructure, and on-chain stock trading and IPOs as opportunity areas. Analysts separately identified Bitcoin resistance at $90,000-$92,000, Ethereum resistance near $2,547-$2,550, and XRP support at $1.35.
