Chiliz [CHZ] rose 11.7% over 24 hours to about $0.0153, reaching a three-week high of $0.0154 after holding $0.013, reclaiming $0.014 and breaking above $0.015 resistance. Trading volume increased 89% to $153 million, and CHZ moved above its 20-day and 50-day moving averages, indicating stronger upward momentum. The market also appeared to be responding to Chiliz’s recent move into Socios Equity Tokens. Two weeks earlier, Chiliz announced a partnership with Securitize for regulated tokenised equity offerings, including plans to bring minority ownership in sports teams on-chain. That strategy could extend Chiliz beyond fan tokens toward sports-team ownership and raise the prospect of fan-token buyers becoming shareholders. Rocketfan founder Christian Ott, who disclosed a weekly Chiliz sponsorship, said the initiative could make sports investments more accessible across markets than conventional sports stocks. Derivatives activity strengthened as open interest (the value of outstanding contracts) rose 21% to $25.4 million and derivatives volume increased 62%, while the long/short ratio reached 1.1 across exchanges. Binance Top Traders recorded a ratio above 2, showing that bullish positions dominated. The Relative Strength Index (a momentum indicator) formed a bullish crossover and climbed to 63. If demand holds, CHZ could defend $0.015 and target its 100-day exponential moving average near $0.018. However, spot netflow rose to $3.359 million, a level last seen in June, suggesting that more CHZ was entering exchanges and that holders could be taking profits. Continued selling could push the token back below $0.015 and toward $0.013.
