Teucrium has postponed its proposed 2x Short Daily XRP ETF 19 times since April 2025, with a Sept. 11 filing by Listed Funds Trust moving its earliest possible effectiveness date to Oct. 11, 2026. The latest delay followed a post-effective amendment and an SEC pushback on registration effectiveness. The date would permit the fund to begin trading but does not guarantee a launch. The proposed fund seeks to deliver negative twice XRP's daily return through derivatives, principally swaps, rather than by selling XRP directly. Its long counterpart, Teucrium's 2x Long Daily XRP ETF, XXRP, began trading on April 8, 2025. XRP has fallen from a $3.65 peak in July 2025 to about $1.37, while XRP funds recorded $190.5 million of inflows over the past 20 trading days and cumulative inflows of $1.70 billion. Separately, Cryptex's proposed Digital Market Cap ETF assigns XRP a 4.36% index weight, though its proposed BAGZ fund remains pre-effective.
