Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP said investors who purchased or acquired UWM Holdings Corporation securities from March 9 through Aug. 5, 2026, inclusive, have until Oct. 13, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in Bond v. UWM Holdings Corporation, No. 26-cv-12862, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The complaint alleges UWM and certain senior executives violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by shifting from its traditional practice of not hedging mortgage servicing rights, over-hedging ahead of a proposed $1.3 billion all-stock merger with Two Harbors Investment Corp., and making misleading statements about its business and prospects. UWM reported a nearly $603.2 million interest-rate derivatives loss and a $451.9 million second-quarter net loss for fiscal 2026; total equity fell 43.6% year over year. After Chief Executive Officer Mathew Ishbia attributed the hedge loss to protection taken for the Two Harbors transaction, UWM shares fell nearly 35%, according to the complaint. Investors may seek lead plaintiff status through Robbins Geller, although participation in any future recovery does not depend on serving in that role.
