Fomo, a Solana-based social trading app launched barely a year ago, has surpassed Pump.fun in seven-day protocol revenue, according to DeFiLlama data. On September 4, Fomo generated $1.76 million in daily revenue versus Pump.fun’s $1.1 million, a 60% difference. Pump.fun remained far ahead over 30 days, with roughly $57 million compared with Fomo’s $17.6 million. Fomo ranked third among Solana protocols in seven-day revenue in July, when it recorded $1.39 million for the week ending July 16, versus Pump.fun’s $5.51 million. Fomo charges about $1 per swap, or roughly 0.5% as a minimum fee on self-custodial trades, and also earns builder-code fees linked to Hyperliquid perpetual futures (contracts without expiry dates). The protocol has no governance token, so its reported revenue is not supported by token incentives. Launched in May 2025, Fomo has raised $94 million, including a $75 million Series B completed in June 2026 at a $550 million valuation. It has attracted more than 625,000 users and processed billions of dollars in cumulative trading volume, including about $25 million from first-time buyers using Apple Pay. Fomo emphasizes real-time trade feeds, leaderboards, user follows and one-tap copy trading, while Pump.fun operates primarily as a memecoin launchpad.
