Solana applications generated $7.935 million in protocol revenue on September 12, the highest single-day total recorded on the chain in 2026, according to DeFiLlama data reported by Blockworks. The figure exceeded the combined 24-hour application revenue of Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Hyperliquid L1 and BNB Smart Chain on the same date. A separate snapshot reported by Crypto Briefing, citing DeFiLlama, put Solana’s daily dapp revenue at about $5.14 million, or 16.9 times Base’s $304,000. Both measures cover fees earned by applications such as decentralized exchanges, launchpads and trading platforms, excluding network fees. Solana applications generated $143.23 million in August, while monthly dapp revenue rose from about $91 million in May to $143 million in August. Activity has been supported by FOMO, Axiom, Phantom, Jupiter, Raydium and StonkFun, with decentralized-exchange volume averaging $7.1 billion daily from September 5 through 11 and reaching $7.74 billion on September 9. DeFiLlama recorded $6.93 million in Solana application revenue and $835,000 in chain fees on September 13, highlighting the distinction between application earnings and infrastructure fees. Whether September surpassed August depended on the persistence of trading activity and fee generation from established applications and newer contributors.
