Lisk Chain, upgraded to an Ethereum Layer 2 (secondary scaling network) mainnet in 2024, will shut down on October 31, 2026. The closure includes its DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) governance and staking (locking tokens to earn rewards) programs. LSK token holders must migrate their tokens off the chain before the shutdown.
