Anthropic has signed a six-year computing deal worth $13.7 billion with Rum Group, a company founded as a social-media platform and known for ties to the Trump administration. The agreement adds to Anthropic’s recent cloud-computing arrangements with Google, SpaceX and smaller neocloud providers as demand for Claude Code and Cowork rises. Those deals represent at least 14,800 megawatts of computing capacity and could cost as much as $517 billion over the next decade, with the Rum agreement adding to the total.
