MEXC reported stronger August activity across early-stage crypto assets and traditional-finance-linked products. The number of users trading new tokens increased 21% month over month, while the best-performing token, Niu Lai (牛来), recorded a peak gain of 14,143%. The 10 tokens with the highest peak gains averaged 3,358%, up 145% from July. Five of those tokens also ranked among the 10 largest by Spot trading volume and represented 65% of volume within that group. Memecoins generated 55% of volume among the top 10 tokens by trading volume, with AI, RWA, DeFi and cross-chain infrastructure projects accounting for the remaining 45%. TradFi (traditional finance) Spot volume rose 13%, led by a 31% increase in tokenized stock trading. Precious metals Futures volume climbed 32%, with XAU and SILVER gains offsetting a decline in XAUT. MEXC also ran three campaigns with prize pools of 1 million USDT each, while its TradFi Million-Dollar Gala recorded more than 174,000 registrations and average daily volume of 4.2 billion USDT.
