Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) has secured a 10-year AI cloud agreement in Malaysia that the company says could generate roughly $1.1 billion in annual revenue and around $6 billion over its lifetime. The reported agreement comes as Bitdeer AI's active AI cloud pipeline exceeds $7 billion. Bitdeer is developing infrastructure in Johor and Cyberjaya, including the 9.5MW A102 data center, which is described as fully committed and is expected to generate more than $800 million over five years. A five-year contract at A102 is valued at approximately $400 million and covers about 50% of the facility's capacity, with service scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027. Bitdeer has also signed a 10-year lease for 21.7MW of AI cloud capacity in Johor Bahru, designed to house 128 NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems. Separately, Bitdeer AI entered a 10-year data center services agreement for the 65.1MW A202 facility on the same Johor Bahru campus as the 21.7MW A201 site; A202 is expected to be energized in the third quarter of 2027. With A201 and A202, the Johor campus would reach 86.8MW. Across Malaysia, Norway and the United States, Bitdeer AI's secured capacity totals approximately 206.5MW, or about 59% of its target of up to 350MW by the first quarter of 2028. The company, founded by former Bitmain CEO Jihan Wu, is pursuing a hybrid model that retains Bitcoin mining while expanding Bitdeer AI as a dedicated cloud infrastructure division. It has also been designated a preferred NVIDIA Cloud Partner. The reported annual and lifetime values do not mathematically align on a simple 10-year calculation, and the source provides no reconciliation.
