PTX Metals has restarted a 5,000-metre diamond drilling program at its W2 Copper-Nickel-PGE Project in northwestern Ontario after pausing exploration in January 2026 for further First Nations discussions. Drilling is focused on the underexplored Central area, primarily the CA1 Zone, while soil sampling and prospecting are advancing targets in the Central, T-Target, Lake Rowell and North Limb areas. The company said results will refine its geological model and guide future drilling. W2 has an extended exploration permit following a Crown consultation process, and First Nations businesses and community members continue to participate through employment, procurement, training and field services. PTX also agreed to pay DK Capital Partners C$18,500 plus taxes and issue 200,000 stock options for a four-month investor-outreach mandate, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
