HTX held two community AMA sessions and an X Space with Pakistani users and influencers last week as it advances through Pakistan's new virtual-asset licensing framework. The exchange is among the first two global exchanges to receive a No-Objection Certificate from PVARA, allowing it to proceed with anti-money-laundering registration, establish a local entity and prepare a Virtual Asset Service Provider licence application. Pakistan issued virtual-asset service regulations and opened the licence application mechanism in late August. HTX said its Pakistan strategy combines regulatory compliance, community engagement and user service. The exchange has operated since 2013 and reported 47 consecutive months of monthly proof-of-reserves reports as of September 2026. It plans to continue its licence application, local preparations, user education and community engagement.
