SafeSpace Global Corporation completed and installed its integrated school-safety solution at its first K-12 campus in Connecticut. The system uses the company’s camera-agnostic applied multimodal AI (systems that analyze multiple data types) platform for facial-recognition and weapons-detection applications within the school’s broader campus-safety initiative. The school’s name and specific location were withheld to protect students and staff. The solution identifies potential threats through configured camera feeds, generates alerts with available location information, routes them to a trained human reviewer, and can activate configured response workflows after confirmation. Depending on customer protocols, those workflows may notify school personnel, alert local authorities, initiate lockdown procedures, and provide location intelligence to first responders. SafeSpace Global serves K-12 education, senior living, addiction-treatment facilities, correctional facilities and faith-based organizations.
