Binance’s multi-asset reserves have diverged ahead of this week’s Federal Reserve decision, with Bitcoin holdings rising to about 690,000 BTC on August 13. That level was roughly 3% above the February peak and about 2% below the approximately 704,000 BTC held in August 2024. CryptoQuant analyst Amr Taha said higher exchange reserves are not necessarily bearish and should be assessed alongside price and liquidity. Bitcoin traded near $59,000 when Binance’s reserves reached their August 2024 level, later surpassed $120,000 in October 2025, and is now near $76,800, about 30% above its comparable August 2024 price. Binance held about 3.616 million ETH, nearly unchanged from June 9, while ETH rose from about $1,625 to $2,500. USDT reserves were near $38 billion, and USDC balances recovered to about $5.2 billion from $4.11 billion on August 5.
