Borealis Foods Inc. is expanding internationally with the launch of Niom Niom high-protein instant noodles in Germany, manufactured by its wholly owned CPG company, Palmetto Gourmet Foods. The products are made at Borealis Foods’ facility in Saluda, South Carolina, and are available through major supermarket retailers including EDEKA and REWE. Initial volume is expected to be approximately 10 million units annually, with further increases dependent on Foodvibez’s retail distribution and consumer reach. Borealis Foods’ stock stood at $1.3100, up 6.43%, based on the provided market data. Niom Niom was developed by German consumer food company Foodvibez GmbH with content creators Rezo, Dilara and Mexify, who collectively reach more than 30 million followers across major social media platforms, according to Foodvibez. The Chef Woo high-protein noodles contain 20 grams of protein per cup. Borealis says the launch illustrates its strategy of applying its food science, product development and large-scale manufacturing capabilities to its own brands and external partners while expanding production, manufacturing utilization and international market access. The company cautioned that its expectations regarding volumes, distribution, demand, expansion and other commercial opportunities are forward-looking and subject to risks including customer orders, retailer decisions, consumer demand, international distribution, supply-chain requirements, financing, liquidity and Nasdaq listing compliance.
