Coinbase ended spot trading for eight non-USD cryptocurrency pairs on Sept. 15 as part of a market review intended to strengthen market health, integrity and liquidity. The affected pairs were ANKR-EUR, BAT-BTC, BAT-ETH, COMP-BTC, FIL-BTC, GRT-BTC, JASMY-USDT and YFI-BTC. The action did not delist the underlying assets, which remain available through USD order books for Coinbase Advanced Trade users in eligible regions. BAT lost two markets, BAT-BTC and BAT-ETH. Coinbase had previously placed the order books in limit-only mode and has undertaken similar market consolidations in recent months.
