  • Zenith joined DTCC's Digital Assets Solutions Industry Working Group on September 15, 2026.
  • More than 100 firms now contribute to DTCC's tokenization service development.
  • July tests used tokenized securities in production-environment institutional trades.

Zenith, an Ethereum-compatible execution layer for the Canton Network, joined DTCC's Digital Assets Solutions Industry Working Group on September 15, 2026. The group has expanded from 50 to more than 100 participants, including banks, asset managers, exchanges, custodians and digital asset infrastructure providers such as BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Citi, Nasdaq, NYSE and Digital Asset. Members are providing input on the DTCC Tokenization Service, which is designed to create tokenized representations of eligible securities held by the Depository Trust Company while keeping the underlying assets in its existing custody system. The service covers Russell 1000 stocks, major ETFs and U.S. Treasuries and has a targeted launch in October 2026. DTCC tested production-environment trades in July using assets including Microsoft and Circle shares, the Invesco QQQ Trust, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF and a BlackRock Treasury ETF across its private Hyperledger Besu infrastructure and the public Canton Network.
