Hims & Hers Health faces a securities-fraud class action in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired its securities from Aug. 4, 2025, through July 29, 2026. The complaint, captioned Velanki v. Hims & Hers Health, Inc., alleges that the company shared consumers’ health information with third-party advertising platforms, charged for prescriptions shortly after intake forms were submitted, and failed to disclose regulatory risks and potential fees or penalties. The allegations concern statements about the company’s business, operations and prospects, which the complaint says were materially misleading or lacked a reasonable basis. The Federal Trade Commission filed a lawsuit against Hims & Hers on July 29, 2026, accusing it of deceptive and unlawful privacy practices, including sharing sensitive health information with Snap and Meta Platforms. Hims & Hers shares fell $4.32, or 14.73%, to close at $25.00 that day. Investors have until Nov. 2, 2026, to seek lead-plaintiff status through Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check or other counsel, or remain absent class members.
