Samsung SDS said on the 15th that it became the first Korean company to receive Select Tier partner status in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network. The status is reserved for partners with certified technical staff and experience building and deploying solutions for joint customers in live operating environments. Samsung SDS obtained it after signing a strategic partnership with Anthropic at an AI summit in San Francisco in July, and already holds authorized reseller status for supplying Claude through Amazon Web Services’ generative AI platform, Amazon Bedrock. The company plans to provide an integrated enterprise AI framework covering Claude adoption consulting, supply through Amazon Bedrock, service development, operations and technical support. It will combine Anthropic’s AI technology with digital transformation and AX experience from the public, financial, manufacturing and logistics sectors to expand Claude-based services and agents, while systematically training applied AI engineers. Under its Client Zero strategy, Samsung SDS first deployed Claude Enterprise internally and now provides it to about 70,000 employees at 20 Samsung affiliates. The company plans to apply that experience to customer AI adoption and AX projects. Anthropic executive Chris Ciauri said the partnership would support Korean companies’ productivity and innovation, while CEO Lee Jun-hee said Samsung SDS would combine Claude and other global AI technologies with its full-stack AI capabilities to create business value and support customers’ AX.
