Binance will move commodity-based TradFi perpetual contracts to a 24/5 schedule from Sept. 15, 2026, at 21:00 UTC, or Sept. 16 at 5 a.m. China Standard Time. The change affects contracts linked to gold, silver, WTI and Brent crude, natural gas, platinum, palladium and copper, aligning their availability with weekday commodity markets. Crypto perpetuals and equity-based contracts including TSLAUSDT and INTCUSDT will remain tradable 24/7. Binance launched the TradFi products in January 2026 and on May 8 moved commodity pricing from a fixed mode to an Orderbook Exponentially Weighted Moving Average strategy that gives greater weight to recent order-book activity during off-hours. Traders will no longer be able to adjust commodity positions over weekends, while the differing treatment of equity contracts leaves open whether Binance could later review their trading hours.
