Aircom has promoted Khurram Chaudhry from Vice President Product & Engineering to managing director and CTO, giving him overall responsibility for the business. The leadership change comes as the company enters a new product-innovation phase focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and automation in RAN (radio access network) planning, optimization and operations. Chaudhry has been part of the TEOCO group since 2016 and most recently led Aircom's product management and engineering functions. Atul Jain will remain chairman and provide strategic leadership across TEOCO. Aircom serves more than 100 customers in over 100 countries and aims to apply AI and automation to network-engineering challenges while supporting the development of autonomous networks.
