Zama opened deposits on September 15 for 16 confidential Morpho vaults on Ethereum covering USDC, USDT, AUSD and TGBP. Twelve vaults have non-confidential counterparts on Morpho, while four were created specifically for confidential deposits. Steakhouse Financial will manage some vaults alongside Armitage by Wintermute, Flowdesk, RockawayX and Bitwise. Zama’s first vault, launched with Morpho and Steakhouse Financial in June using Steakhouse’s USDC Prime strategy, grew from zero to $40 million in total value locked within seven weeks. Zama also launched the Zama Swap Protocol, allowing users to privately exchange cUSDC, cUSDT, cAUSD, cTGBP and confidential vault shares without revealing trade sizes or intentions. The vaults are initially available through Zama’s application, with Utila, Zerion Wallet and Yield.xyz expected to integrate them in the coming weeks.
