Broadridge has expanded its US wealth platform to cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities, allowing broker-dealers and registered investment advisers to offer them through existing systems. The platform, previously available only in Canada, was expanded on September 14 with Anchorage Digital providing custody and settlement and Galaxy Digital supplying market infrastructure. Delivered through DLX, Broadridge's tokenization infrastructure, the service supports cryptocurrencies and tokenized real-world assets including equities, funds, and private or alternative investments. It covers advisor-led and self-directed models, integrated wallets with omnibus and segregated structures, multi-custodian arrangements, and proxy voting for retail and institutional holders. Existing services such as regulatory reporting, statements, confirmations, and tax processing continue alongside traditional holdings. Broadridge's Distributed Ledger Repo platform already tokenizes more than $351 billion a day, while its systems underpin daily average trading of more than $18 trillion in tokenized and traditional securities. The company says the wealth launch extends distribution of infrastructure already operating at institutional scale. Broadridge also participated on September 14 in a S&P Global-led investment round that extended digital asset data provider Kaiko's Series B to $110 million, and joined a Kaiko-chaired data-standards working group with Nasdaq Ventures, BNP Paribas, and Royal Bank of Canada. The company highlights proxy voting as a distinctive feature for tokenized securities, including issuer-listed models, synthetic securities issued outside the United States, and third-party tokenized shares within it.
