Salesforce unveils Koa CRM reasoning model with NVIDIA for Agentforce

  • Salesforce introduced Koa and AI Force at Dreamforce 2026, positioning enterprise AI around software, corporate data and business rules.
  • Koa reduced benchmark errors to one-third of existing models and performed on par with or better than GPT-6 and Claude Sonnet, Salesforce said.
  • Koa is being piloted with selected Agentforce customers before a planned U.S. release by year-end; AI Force will support Cowork, Slack and Lightning.

Salesforce unveiled Koa, its first self-developed CRM reasoning model, and AI Force at Dreamforce 2026 in San Francisco on Sept. 15. Built with NVIDIA on the open-weight Nemotron 3 Super model, Koa uses synthetic data representing roughly 30 years of CRM expertise, without customer data, to reason through multistep customer-support, sales and marketing workflows. Salesforce said Koa performed on par with or better than leading models including GPT-6 and Claude Sonnet on its CRM benchmark while reducing errors to one-third of existing models. CEO Marc Benioff said enterprise AI needs software containing accurate corporate data and business rules because generative AI is probability-based and can produce errors on its own. AI Force will connect Salesforce data, applications, AI agents and real-time interfaces across Cowork, Slack and Lightning, with software development kits for customer-built applications and Zero Data Retention controls. Koa is being piloted with selected Agentforce customers and is scheduled for U.S. release by year-end, while a post-trained NVIDIA model is planned for some Missionforce customers from October.
