Bitget has released a Contracts for Difference (CFD) API for its integrated UEX trading platform, extending programmatic access beyond crypto to gold, forex, stock indices and crude oil. The API supports order placement and management, account information, real-time market data, fund transfers, and take-profit and stop-loss settings. Existing API users can add exposure to these markets through their current systems rather than building separate connections. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the aim is to let traders handle multiple asset classes using familiar methods. The CFD Open API also supports several account modes and requires users to select the instrument code matching their CFD account configuration.
