Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC notified investors about a securities class action against Beta Bionics, Inc. (NasdaqGM: BBNX) concerning common stock purchased from July 30, 2025, through February 24, 2026. The case, Holtzman v. Beta Bionics, Inc. et al., 26-cv-02612, is pending in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. The complaint concerns the iLet Bionic Pancreas insulin pump, Beta Bionics’ sole commercialized device, and alleges that its automated dosing algorithm malfunctioned, delivering dangerously high insulin levels and causing hypoglycemic events, including hundreds requiring medical intervention and hospitalization. It also alleges that the company failed to investigate or timely report thousands of customer complaints, including more than 18,000 identified in an FDA Form 483 issued in June 2025, and failed to implement meaningful corrective actions before receiving an FDA warning letter. Earlier allegations in the action said the company minimized the FDA’s concerns as a complaint-categorization issue. The complaint alleges that subsequent disclosures, including a January 30, 2026, warning-letter disclosure and the FDA’s February 24 release of the letter, contributed to a stock decline from $31.99 to below $13. Investors have until November 3, 2026, to ask the court for lead-plaintiff appointment; the proposed class has not been certified.
